Anton Lyngdal (Mr. Awkward show/Opes_vs_vato) is a concept artist from Reykjavík. He works under several artist names, or ultra egos, as he calls them. Anton works with diverse materials and in various art fields, including graffiti, glassblowing, painting, rap, video, and sculpture.

He draws most of his inspiration from human behavior, often working with memories and models. Anton enjoys exploring ways to use art as a means of resilience against the challenges life presents.

Anton has held and participated in numerous exhibitions both abroad and in Iceland. These include participation in Design March, solo exhibitions at Núllid Gallery, and group exhibitions at Artin Amsterdam, De Kring Amsterdam, Galerí Fold, and Galerý Port. Additionally, he ran an art studio in Rotterdam for a time with the art group Madlab.

Anton is a member of MHR, SÍM, Færbæri, Madlab, and Robot Disko.
