Christopher Steininger is a Canadian illustrator living in Germany.
He is the artist on the Silverwing graphic novel animal fantasy series written by best-selling author Kenneth Oppel with the latest release, Sunwing, arriving later this year from HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Guppy Books. Other comic work includes Modo: Ember's End written by Arthur Slade (Orca Publishers), Beowulf (Markosia) and World's of Dungeons & Dragons (Devil's Due). He's also worked in animation as a storyboard artist on shows like Marvel's Avengers Assemble and done concept art on games like Warhammer 40k and Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast. Currently he's working on Firewing, the third installment in the Silverwing series.
