Ell is an Edinburgh based comic artist and illustrator. Originally from Orkney, she is inspired by the natural world, folklore and the ocean, themes that feature prominently in her work. She is also a big fan of death metal, and enjoys making paper and lino printing. Her favourite things to draw are horses, mythical beasts and sad men.
