Fannar is an illustrator based in Reykjavík. Fannar has primarily worked on album covers and concert posters for Iceland’s underground music scene. In between, they have also drawn comics and published small zines featuring their illustrations. Recently, they have also been increasingly moving into video game development and animation.
Fannar’s work is primarily influenced aesthetically by punk and hardcore, 20th-century cartoons, and American underground comics from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
