Jean is a French illustrator and comic book artist who, after illustrating numerous children’s books and creating several comics, went on to specialize in comic book publishing.
He contributed to the publication of the action-comics magazine Blek for twenty years and played an active role in promoting comics in Iceland, including by establishing the first comic-making courses in Iceland.
Today, he runs Froskur 'Útgáfa, a publishing company that publishes the majority of comics in Iceland.
