Lefteris was born in Athens in 1984 and studied Painting at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He started out working on large-scale oil and acrylics paintings and later moved to smaller works which combined digital colour with traditional ink. Since 2017 he has focused on writing, and creating comics. He is currently writing a book about his experiences as a fishery worker in Iceland and, working on his next comic. He is the creator of Myndasöguhátið Siglufjarðar.
