I am passionate about comic books, and I both write and draw them. I created Christmas Light Man, an everyday superhero in the city of Reykjavík, back in the 8th grade and I have been developing and creating stories about him ever since. In addition, I have a great interest in the Icelandic Sagas and have adapted two chapters of Grettis saga into a comic book, hoping to make the sagas more accessible to new readers. I have also made some short stories like Trashworld, Night of the Trolls and more.
My goal is to change the world through comics by inspiring, educating, and teaching people good values. I also want to elevate Icelandic comics and strengthen this art form, which has so often been undervalued throughout history.
When I’m not drawing, I practice Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), play chess, and delve into old sagas and philosophy. I recently graduated from the Drawing Department of The Reykjavik School of Visual Arts. Since then I have been learning to use Google Calendar and practicing digital minimalism.
