Hi! My name is Anna Guðrún and I’m a third-year graphic design student at the Iceland University of the Arts, graduating this spring. For my final project, I’m creating a handmade, experimental comic book—both written and illustrated by me. The comic takes on an unusual form, challenging traditional formats and the project itself explores how the subject matter of a story can influence the way it’s illustrated. I’m currently in the production phase and the finished work will debut on May 17th at our graduation show.
